We are dedicated to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees and maintaining a work environment that is free from discrimination and harassment.Overview of position:We are looking for a Network Engineer/Architect Senior to work in Indianapolis, IN.An active Top-Secret clearance and United States Citizenship are required to be considered for this position.ResponsibilitiesProvide senior network engineering support for DFAS CCE infrastructureMaintain network architecture and configuration design documentationProvide architecture and configuration design updates as solutions are deployedSupport Security Team operations at all DFAS locations for network securitySupport firewall, web proxy/filter, IDS/IPS, DNS, DNSSEC operationsImplement change control process for network configurationsSupport network security troubleshooting and access issue resolutionMaintain secure configurations per DISA STIGsSupport COOP/DR planning and exercisesCoordinate with government team members on coverage and workloadQualificationsExperience/Skills:8+ years network engineering experienceSecurity X (formerly CASP+) certificationStrong knowledge of enterprise network security technologiesExperience with firewall administration and policy managementProficiency with DNS/DNSSEC implementationExperience with IDS/IPS configuration and monitoringKnowledge of DISA STIG compliance requirementsNetwork documentation and design skillsExperience with classified network environmentsPreferred Qualification:CISSP certificationCisco CCNP certificationPalo Alto or Fortinet certificationsExperience with DFAS network infrastructurePrior DoD network engineering experienceExperience with Zero Trust implementationsCloud networking experience (Azure, AWS)Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related fieldCertifications:CompTIA Security X (CASP) or equivalentClearance:Active Top-Secret clearance is required.Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check.
