Job summary

ITI Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Network Engineer Architect, Journeyman to work in Indianapolis, IN. An active Top-Secret clearance and United States Citizenship are required to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities include providing network engineering support for DFAS CCE infrastructure, maintaining network architecture documentation, and assisting with security operations (firewalls, IDS/IPS, DNSSEC). Preferred candidates have DoD experience and STIG familiarity.

Qualifications

• Candidate should have 5+ years in network engineering and DoD-focused environments.
• Security CASP+ or equivalent certification is required.
• Experience with firewall/IDS/IPS and DNS/DNSSEC is essential.
• Familiarity with DISA STIG requirements and DoD security protocols is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide network engineering support for DFAS CCE infrastructure.
• Maintain and update network architecture documentation.
• Assist with security infrastructure operations (firewalls, IDS/IPS, DNSSEC).
• Support web proxy and content filtering operations.
• Assist with network security troubleshooting and DISA STIG configurations.

• Support COOP exercises and testing.

• Support vulnerability scanning and remediation activities
• Document network changes and configurations
• Participate in change control processes
• Support COOP exercises and testing

QualificationsExperience/Skills:

• 5+ years network engineering experience
• Security X (formerly CASP+) certification
• Knowledge of enterprise network security technologies
• Experience with firewall and IDS/IPS systems
• Understanding of DNS and DNSSEC
• Familiarity with DISA STIG requirements
• Network troubleshooting skills
• Experience with network documentation
• Knowledge of DoD security requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• CISSP certification (upgrade path)
• Cisco CCNA/CCNP certification
• Experience with DFAS or DoD networks
• Prior classified network experience
• Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell)
• Cloud networking fundamentals

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

Certifications:

• CompTIA Security X (CASP) or equivalent

Clearance:

• Active Top-Secret clearance is required.
• Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check.
