ACKtive Engineering Solutions LLC is seeking a Senior Network Engineer with AI experience for critical national-security work in the DC/MD area. This role requires US citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance, with a strong background in routing, switching, and security across Cisco platforms.

The candidate will lead network design and implementation efforts, supervise small teams, and provide technical direction for enterprise-scale ISP backbones and security policy translation into device

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in network design including routing, switching, and network security.
• CCNA certification required.

About the Role:

ACKtive Engineering Solutions LLC is looking for a Senior Network Engineer with AI experience. This position requires a US citizenship AND an active clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Install and configure Cisco 7600 series routers 6500 series switches
• Maintain, monitor, troubleshoot, and diagnose and resolve problems with Cisco ASA firewalls, Cisco Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems, Cisco VPNs, Cisco 3750 series switches, and Cisco management applications
• Develop netowork security requirements and policy and translate requirements into specific device configurations
• Design and implement enterprise-level ISP backbone networks
• Provide technical direction for the operation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices
• Direct small teams in the identification and resolution of complex technical issues and problems

Requirements:

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• 10 years of experience in network design to include routing, switching, and network security is required.
• CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is required.
• Strong AI skills across other disciplines who could provide expertise to the wide-ranging AI issues aworking group is looking to tackle (software development, hardware engineering, systems engineering, etc)
