Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a hands-on Network Engineer II for a hybrid role based in Menasha, WI. You will design, deploy, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure for new site implementations, working closely with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure secure, reliable deployments.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of enterprise networking experience, strong Cisco routing/switching skills, and experience with Palo Alto firewalls and SD‑WAN.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.

• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing & Switching, DHCP, DNS, and network troubleshooting.

Overview

Our client is seeking a Network Engineer II to support a growing portfolio of facility buildouts and network deployment initiatives across the organization. This is a highly visible, hands‑on role focused on designing, deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting network infrastructure for new site implementations.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned networking professional with strong experience in enterprise network environments who can quickly contribute with minimal ramp‑up. This role offers the opportunity to work on large‑scale network deployments while partnering closely with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure new locations are secure, reliable, and aligned with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and support network infrastructure for new facility and site deployments.
• Install and maintain routing, switching, wireless, firewall, and SD‑WAN solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network performance, connectivity, and configuration issues.
• Support network expansion initiatives and infrastructure upgrades.
• Ensure network deployments meet security, reliability, and operational standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams and business stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and deployment procedures.
• Travel to company locations as needed to support implementation projects.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
