Job summary

TEKsystems in Menasha, WI seeks a hands-on Network Engineer II to design, deploy, and troubleshoot network infrastructure for new site implementations, with a focus on security, reliability, and scalable enterprise environments.

You will travel to company locations as needed and collaborate with infrastructure teams, documenting diagrams and procedures to ensure consistent deployment standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing & Switching, DHCP, DNS, and general network troubleshooting.
• Experience configuring and supporting firewalls (Palo Alto preferred), Wireless APs, and SD‑WAN technologies.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues and support site deployments.
• Willingness to travel to company locations as needed.

Overview

Our client is seeking a Network Engineer II to support a growing portfolio of facility buildouts and network deployment initiatives across the organization. This is a highly visible, hands‑on role focused on designing, deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting network infrastructure for new site implementations. The ideal candidate is a seasoned networking professional with strong experience in enterprise network environments who can quickly contribute with minimal ramp‑up. This role offers the opportunity to work on large‑scale network deployments while partnering closely with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure new locations are secure, reliable, and aligned with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and support network infrastructure for new facility and site deployments.
• Install and maintain routing, switching, wireless, firewall, and SD‑WAN solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network performance, connectivity, and configuration issues.
• Support network expansion initiatives and infrastructure upgrades.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
