Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining secure, scalable, and reliable networks that meet the demands of a modern enterprise environment. You will work closely with IT teams and stakeholders to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability of our network systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy functional and secure networks (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN)
• Configure and install network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs and security patches
• Manage firewalls, load balancers, and other network security appliances
• Implement and maintain network monitoring tools and diagnostics
• Document network configurations, processes, and procedures
• Collaborate with systems administrators, cybersecurity teams, and other IT staff
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness for network infrastructure
• Evaluate new network technologies and recommend improvements
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering or administration
• Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
• Proficiency in configuring Cisco or similar network devices
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network access control
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Wireshark, or Nagios
• Knowledge of IP addressing, subnetting, and routing concepts
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or higher)
• Experience with cloud networking in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Knowledge of VoIP systems and Quality of Service (QoS) configurations
• Experience with SD-WAN or network automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python scripting)
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and documentation standards
