Job summary

KBR's National Security Solutions team is seeking a senior network engineer to design, deploy, and secure mission-critical network infrastructure in a high-security environment. You will lead engineering efforts, guide teams on Cisco Datacenter, IOS-XE/NX-OS, and security technologies while supporting enterprise WAN/LAN deployments.

On-site role with minimal travel, offering competitive compensation and federal-facing benefits.

Qualifications

  • Active clearance TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field with 6+ years of experience.
  • Experience with Cisco Datacenter, WAN, LAN, and Client Access technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with MACsec, HSRP, VRF, VPC, ACLs, BGP and EIGRP.
  • Experience building Cisco ACI environments; IOS-XE and NX-OS experience.
  • Experience supporting FTD and ASA firewalls and VPN concentrators.
  • Understanding of high-availability network technologies.

Standard Qualifications:
Required:
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of experience; additional experience may be substituted for a degree
  • Recent experience with Cisco Datacenter, WAN, LAN, and Client Access technologies
  • Experience with MACsec, HSRP, VRF, VPC, ACLs, BGP, and EIGRP
  • Experience building, deploying, and maintaining Cisco ACI environments
  • Recent experience with IOS-XE and NX-OS
  • Recent experience supporting FTD and ASA firewalls and VPN concentrators
  • Demonstrated understanding of high-availability network technologies
Desired:
  • Experience serving as a technical lead for network engineering teams
  • Experience with enterprise collaboration tools
  • Experience with ticketing and service management platforms
  • Experience supporting intelligence community or DoD customers
Basic Compensation:

Basic Compensation: $172,900 to $211,400 This range is for the Virginia area only The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
