Job summary

KBR is seeking a Network Engineer for its National Security Solutions team in the United States. The role focuses on designing, deploying, and securing mission-critical network infrastructure to protect national security interests.

You will work with Cisco datacenter, WAN/LAN, and security technologies in a high-availability environment. Applicants should have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph, a relevant Bachelor's degree, 6+ years of experience, and hands-on Cisco ACI, IOS-XE/NX-OS, and firewall

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 6+ years of experience.
• Experience with Cisco Datacenter, WAN, LAN, and Client Access technologies.
• Strong knowledge of MACsec, HSRP, VRF, VPC, ACLs, BGP/EIGRP.
• Experience building, deploying, and maintaining Cisco ACI environments.
• Experience with IOS-XE and NX-OS; FTD/ASA firewalls and VPN concentrators.
• Understanding of high-availability network technologies.

Qualifications

Required

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of experience; additional experience may be substituted for a degree
• Recent experience with Cisco Datacenter, WAN, LAN, and Client Access technologies
• Experience with MACsec, HSRP, VRF, VPC, ACLs, BGP, and EIGRP
• Experience building, deploying, and maintaining Cisco ACI environments
• Recent experience with IOS-XE and NX-OS
• Recent experience supporting FTD and ASA firewalls and VPN concentrators
• Demonstrated understanding of high-availability network technologies

Desired

• Experience serving as a technical lead for network engineering teams
• Experience with enterprise collaboration tools
• Experience with ticketing and service management platforms
• Experience supporting intelligence community or DoD customers
• Relevant Cisco certifications

$172,900 to $211,400

This range is for the Virginia area only

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
