• Contract: W2 with the possibility to convert to FTE.
• Remote with the ability to travel 20% to sites for deployments.
• All deployments are near Dallas and Tyler, TX.
• Pay Range: $65-$75/Hour W2.

Overview:

• The Network Engineer is responsible for managing and troubleshooting network infrastructure, including LAN and WAN services across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot network issues on Cisco, Meraki, and Fortinet platforms
• Configure Cisco and Fortinet switches and routers (e.g., Cisco 3750x, 9200, Nexus, ASR, ISR, Fortigate, Meraki)
• Install network hardware and activate WAN circuits
• Participate in team and project meetings
• Create and update network documentation and change scripts
• Collaborate with the security team to mitigate active threats

Education & Experience:

• Required: Associates' degree in Information Systems/Computer Science or equivalent training
• Active CCNA certification
• 5+ years of experience in Information Systems, preferably in healthcare
• 3+ years of hands-on networking experience with Cisco projects
• 3+ years of SD-WAN experience
• Experience with LAN/WAN infrastructures, troubleshooting, IP schemes, wireless issues, and security protocols

Skills:

• Strong ownership, documentation, and communication skills
• Proficiency with Visio and Office applications
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
