Looking for a Network Engineering opportunity at a place you can make a difference every day? Discover this great opportunity supporting the Virtual Joint Environment for Tactical Training Systems (VJETTS) team. Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact towards our military defense and readiness of the warfighter in supporting this critical mission.

Serco is excited to support the Air Force Modeling and Simulation Support Services (AFMS3) contract. The primary purpose of this contract is to ensure that the Department of the Air Force (DAF), Department of War (DoW), and External Partner Agencies maintain cutting‑edge Modeling and Simulation (M&S) capabilities that are secure, interoperable, and efficient. The contractor will provide comprehensive support and innovative solutions that enable the continuous evolution and enhancement of M&S systems, ensuring that the DAF and DoD can effectively prepare for and execute their missions with the highest level of readiness and lethality.

This position is contingent upon the ability to maintain/transfer an active U.S. Department of War (DoW) Top Secret security clearance.

In this role you will:
  • Provide network architecture, integration, and engineering support for training systems and associated infrastructure.

  • Be responsible for routing, switching, firewalls, network documentation, and interoperability connectivity.

  • Create high‑level and detailed network design documentation.

  • Define network standards, best practices, and technical roadmaps.

  • Evaluate and recommend networking technologies, platforms, and solutions.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.

  • 8 years of relevant experience.

  • An active U.S. Department of War (DoW) Secret security clearance.

  • U.S. Citizenship.

  • The ability to travel up to 10%.

Additional desired experience and skills:
  • Experience with Cisco/Enterprise Networking

  • Familiarity with Network design

  • Knowledge of Joint‑Service Integrations

  • Experience with Secure Network Environments
