Base pay range

$55.00/hr - $65.00/hr

Requires 100% TRAVEL

Duration: 6-Month to Hire or 1 year contract likely to extend

Clearance / Visa: USC - Ability to obtain secret clearance

Key Requirements

· Security within networking (Firewall / VPN)

· 7+ years' experience as a Network Engineer

· Expert knowledge in Software Defined Networks (SDN)

· Experience in complex network topologies

· Knowledge of data, network, and transport layers

· Systems integration and testing experience.

· Ability to travel up to 50% (OCONUS, including Southwest Asia, Pacific, Europe, Korea, Hawaii)

· Ability to obtain Sec+

Nice to Have

· Systems Engineering experience

· Linux or Windows experience

· Virtualization with VMware

· Bachelor's degree (strongly preferred)

· Certifications (e.g., CCNA, JNCIA, CCNP, JNCIP, Security+)

Day to Day

· Heavy focus on Installations and Design of large campus networks

· Lead engineering efforts for survey, design, and implementation of solutions

· Conduct research on new technologies

· Develop architecture solutions and designs

· Facilitate technical exchange meetings with customers

· Prepare technical documentation and presentations

· Develop and implement data networking solutions

· Mentor junior engineers

· Travel for site surveys (2-4 weeks at a time) and installations

Notes:

**Needs strong experience in installation and design of large campus networks, college campus networks work or military base type networks.

** This role is heavy travel, but the person can get breaks and time off during downtimes

** Travel schedule is already set, however emergencies could pop up where they have to pivot
