Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise network engineering, administration, or operations experience.

• Strong hands-on Juniper networking experience.
• Strong AWS networking experience.
• Solid routing and switching fundamentals including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN technologies.
• Experience troubleshooting Layer 2 and Layer 3 network issues.
• Understanding of hybrid-cloud connectivity and network segmentation.
• Ability to take ownership of incidents, root-cause analysis, and infrastructure improvements.
• Ability to work onsite three days per week in the New York City / New Jersey area.

• Support high availability, redundancy, failover, and disaster‑recovery connectivity.
• Act as an escalation point for complex Layer 2 and Layer 3 network incidents and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Support network upgrades, migrations, infrastructure improvements, and data‑center initiatives.
• Maintain network diagrams, configurations, topology documentation, standards, and operational runbooks.
• Partner with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams on network architecture and operational improvements.

This role combines hands-on network engineering, cloud connectivity, troubleshooting, resiliency, and ongoing infrastructure improvement. The engineer will work across traditional networking and AWS environments, with particular emphasis on Juniper technologies and AWS networking. Professional Mandarin Chinese proficiency is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Zero Trust or Zscaler.
• CCNP, JNCIP, CCIE, or comparable certification.
• Financial‑services experience.
