Job summary

HireOn Tech is seeking a seasoned Network Engineer to design, deploy and maintain high-availability LAN, WLAN and WAN environments in a complex enterprise setting.

You will mentor junior staff, drive continuous improvement of our network infrastructure, and ensure alignment with security and cloud connectivity requirements. The role requires hands-on experience with datacenter virtualization, routing protocols, firewalls, and monitoring tools.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of industry-related experience as a Network Engineer or Network Administrator.
• Datacenter build and virtualization experience.
• LAN/WLAN/WAN design and deployment expertise.
• Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and firewall security best practices.
• Scripting with PowerShell, Python, or Perl.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Logic Monitor and Live Action.
• Linux OS knowledge for network appliance support.
• VMware and Hyper-V experience.
