Job summary

Expert Technology Services is seeking a network support engineer to help implement and maintain IT infrastructure. You will work with Cisco switches, SDA deployments, and WAN/LAN connectivity across multiple sites to ensure reliable network operations.

You will collaborate with local IT teams, document configurations, and assist in troubleshooting L1–L3 issues while supporting deployments and ongoing network improvements.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in network engineering, administration, or infrastructure support.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies (switches).
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing & switching, DNS, DHCP, and network troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting enterprise network environments.

Job Summary (List Format):

• Provide network support and engineering for IT infrastructure projects.
• Install, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure across multiple locations.
• Assist with the setup and configuration of Cisco network switches and related hardware.
• Support network stack installations, rack-and-stack activities, and network connectivity validation.
• Participate in Cisco SDA (Software Defined Access) deployments and network expansion initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Layer 1 through Layer 3 network issues.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on network configurations, upgrades, and changes.
• Monitor network performance and assist in resolving connectivity issues.
• Support LAN, WAN, switching, routing, and wireless network environments.
• Document network configurations, deployment procedures, and support activities.
• Work with local IT teams and stakeholders to ensure successful site deployments.
• Utilize network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Maintain strong communication skills and work effectively within a team.
• Manage multiple deployment activities independently.

Required Experience & Skills:

• 1-3 years of experience in network engineering, network administration, or infrastructure support.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies (especially switches).
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing & switching, DNS, DHCP, and network troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting enterprise network environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to Cisco SDA environments.
• Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA).
• Experience with network migration, implementation, or deployment projects.
• Familiarity with Cisco Catalyst switches and wireless networking.
• Experience with network monitoring tools.
