Job summary

Mindlance is seeking a hands-on network engineer to support load balancing implementations within a fulfillment team. This role focuses on F5 load balancers and the migration of thousands of applications in a large-scale data center context.

Qualified candidates bring strong networking fundamentals and experience with traditional network engineering or systems/unix environments. Basic Python skills are a plus in a hybrid, onsite-first setting.

Qualifications

• Strong F5 load balancing experience.
• Solid understanding of load balancing concepts and networking fundamentals.
• Backgrounds including traditional network engineers or systems/unix engineers welcomed.
• Nice-to-have: basic Python scripting.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the fulfillment team supporting load balancing implementations.
• Contribute to large-scale data center migration projects (thousands of apps).
• Troubleshoot issues and provide implementation support.
• Maintain hands-on, desk-based role with no data center work.

Location: Chandler, AZ/Irving, TX (Hybrid – 3 days a week onsite)

Core Function

• Part of fulfillment team supporting load balancing implementations
• Works within large-scale data center migration (3K–4K apps)
• Troubleshooting & implementation support
• Fully hands-on, desk-based (no data center work)

Technical Requirements (Refined)

Top Priorities:

• Strong F5 load balancing experience (most critical skill)
• Solid understanding of:
• Load balancing concepts (failover, traffic routing, ratios)
• Networking fundamentals (routers/switches/firewalls OR equivalent system-level knowledge)

Flexible Backgrounds Accepted:

• Traditional network engineers
• Systems/Unix engineers with strong infrastructure understanding
• Candidates with adjacent experience who understand how systems communicate

Nice-to-Have:

• Basic Python (no heavy dev required)

Not Required:

• Automation development (handled by another team)
• Deep programming
