Job summary

Quantum Technologies LLC in New York is seeking a network engineer to design, configure, and maintain enterprise networks, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and data center infrastructure, with a focus on reliability and security. You will manage Cisco routers/switches/firewalls, implement routing protocols (BGP/OSPF/EIGRP), VPNs, ACLs, and DNS/DHCP, and collaborate with security, cloud, and application teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise networks.
• Hands-on with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

• Experience with VPNs, ACLs, NAT, DNS, DHCP, and IP addressing.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/WLAN/dc).
• Configure and manage Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and APs.
• Implement routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and static routes.
• Manage VLANs, IP addressing, subnetting, and network segmentation.
• Configure site-to-site and remote access VPNs, IPsec, and SSL VPN.
• Implement network security policies, ACLs, NAT.
• Monitor performance with SolarWinds, PRTG, and Wireshark.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, latency, packet loss, routing issues.
• Manage devices from Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Juniper.
• Support MPLS, SD-WAN, and enterprise WAN connectivity.
• Perform upgrades, backups, firmware updates, and maintenance.
• Produce network diagrams, documentation, incident reports.
• Participate in incident management and ITIL-aligned processes.
