Job summary

DYVICC Inc. in Hoffman Estates, IL, is seeking a Network Engineer to install, configure, and support network infrastructure across client sites in the U.S.

You will work with Cisco networking, EIGRP/OSPF, BGP, and security hardening, with opportunities to design, monitor, and optimize multi-site datacenters. Travel to client locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, MIS or related field.
• Experience with enterprise networks and vendor-specific equipment is a plus.
• Candidate should be able to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Layer 2/3 networking equipment.
• Manage and monitor network performance, capacity, and scalability.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver installations and improvements.

DYVICC Inc. has an opening for a Network Engineer at our main office in Hoffman Estates, IL and resource might need to travel to client location as requested by client within U.S.A.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot the following:
• Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches, routers and associated technologies
• Firewall technologies
• Routers used for internal routing, ISP connectivity.
• Enterprise wireless solutions
• Develop detailed functional specifications, design documents, and test plans.
• Monitor network performance and integrity.
• Consult regarding network performance, capacity, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve support issues with cloud and local infrastructure.
• Consult with technical and business partners and serve as a consulting resource to support client-hosted installations and implementations.
• Work cross-functionally with internal and external customers to define deliverables.
• Support escalation incidents and support on-call duty requirements.
• Interface with internal clients such as sales, service, and field staff as well as external clients to define deliverables.

Work Location & Physical Requirements:

• This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities.
• The physical demands of the position described herein are essential functions of the job and employees must be able to successfully perform these tasks for extended periods.
