Job summary

Valiant Technologies LLC in Edison, NJ seeks an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage our enterprise network infrastructure. You will work with LAN/WAN/WLAN, Cisco routers and switches, and cloud networking to ensure secure, reliable connectivity across data centers and sites.

You will configure routing protocols, VLANs, VPNs, and firewall policies, while monitoring performance with SolarWinds, Wireshark, and PRTG.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, network security, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud networking technologies.
• Experience configuring Cisco routers, switches, and network devices.
• Experience with routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and RIP.
• Experience with VLANs, subnetting, IP addressing, and network segmentation.
• Experience with network security policies, firewalls, and ACLs.
• Experience configuring site-to-site and remote-access VPN connectivity.
• Ability to monitor network performance, availability, and bandwidth utilization.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, latency, packet loss, and routing issues.
• Experience with Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet firewalls.
• Experience implementing redundancy, load balancing, and high availability.
• Support data center and cloud networking environments.
• Perform network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools: SolarWinds, Wireshark, PRTG.
• Maintain network documentation and topology diagrams.
