Voloridge Investment Management in Jupiter, FL seeks a Network Engineer to maintain an enterprise LAN/WAN across datacenters, offices, and cloud environments. You will configure, troubleshoot, and optimize routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless, and support site-to-site VPNs and cloud connectivity.

The role requires hands-on Cisco networking, VPN, firewall concepts, cloud networking design, and collaboration with security and systems teams, with a focus on reliability and security.

Formación

• 4+ years hands-on enterprise network engineering in an enterprise environment
• Deep Cisco routing and switching experience (IOS/IOS-XE, NX-OS)
• Strong understanding of BGP and OSPF; Layer 2/3 fundamentals
• Experience with enterprise firewalls and security concepts
• Experience with enterprise wireless networks
• Cloud networking design and management (VPCs, routing, hybrid connectivity)
• Experience configuring/troubleshooting site-to-site VPNs
• Experience with network monitoring and configuration management tools
• Strong CLI, troubleshooting, and packet-analysis skills
• Clear documentation habits and disciplined change management
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to network design, implementation, and migration projects
• Participate in change management and on-call rotation
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and runbooks
• Collaborate with systems, security, and infra teams on cross-functional initiatives

Summary Of Job Functions

The Network Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our enterprise network across datacenter, corporate offices, and cloud environments:

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless
• Support routing and switching across the datacenter and office networks
• Design and manage networking within our cloud environments (VPCs, routing, connectivity, ACLs)
• Build and maintain site-to-site VPN tunnels to vendors and partners
• Assist with firewall administration, security policy, and secure remote access
• Monitor network health and performance using enterprise monitoring tools, and respond to alerts, incidents, and outages
• Manage network configuration backups, compliance, and IP address management
• Support connectivity to cloud and third-party/partner circuits
• Contribute to network design, implementation, and migration projects
• Participate in scheduled maintenance windows, change management, and an on-call rotation
• Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and runbooks
• Collaborate with systems, security, and infrastructure teams on cross-functional initiatives

Minimum Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on network engineering experience in an enterprise environment
• Strong working knowledge of Cisco routing and switching (IOS/IOS-XE and NX-OS)
• Solid understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and Layer 2/3 fundamentals
• Experience with enterprise firewalls and network security concepts
• Experience with enterprise wireless
• Hands-on experience designing and managing Cloud networking (VPCs, routing, hybrid connectivity)
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting site-to-site VPNs
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools (SNMP, NetFlow, config/compliance management, and alerting/monitoring platforms)
• Strong CLI, troubleshooting, and packet-analysis skills
• Clear documentation habits and disciplined change management
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

Preferred Skills And Previous Experience

• Experience with SD-WAN design and operations
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama
• Experience with Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA) or similar SSE/SASE platforms
• Experience with Meraki Wireless Access Points and wireless networks
• Exposure to modern datacenter fabrics (spine-leaf, high-speed Ethernet)
• Cloud connectivity experience (AWS Direct Connect or equivalent)
• Financial services or other low-latency, high-availability environment experience
• Network automation / scripting (Python)
• Relevant certifications (CCNP, PCNSE, AWS Advanced Networking, or equivalent)
