Job Description

Network engineers work under the direction of the Manager of Network Services. This position requires experience with and an in‑depth working knowledge of networking and network system components (Servers, desktops, routers, firewalls, etc.). In addition, the engineer must exhibit mastery of server administration. Special certifications are required.

Qualifications

Skills Requirement

• Thorough understanding of Active Directory, Domain Name System (DNS) and other core network services.
• Resourceful when assisting other engineers, especially in the Server 2008 or Exchange Server environment.
• Capability to assess and deploy IT security.
• Efficient troubleshooting skills.
• Confident, polished, and professional mannerism.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Certifications & Education

• MCITP, MCSA, or current MSCE, CCNA preferred.
• Associate’s degree and/or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience Requirement

• Five years or more experience working in a Microsoft Server Environment, including installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and designing architecture.
• Experience supporting a variety of clients.
