Job summary

TEKsystems in Charlotte, NC seeks a Network Engineer to support a large EOS network refresh, migrating services from legacy gear to Juniper-based platforms during scheduled maintenance windows. The engineer will analyze router configurations, develop migration plans, create implementation documentation, and execute migrations while coordinating with internal teams and field resources.

• Experience working with network operations, implementation, or provisioning teams.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities within complex routed environments.
• EOL/EOS replacement project experience.

Description

The Network Engineer will support a large-scale End-of-Support (EOS) network refresh initiative. This role is responsible for migrating customer services from legacy network equipment to newer platforms, primarily within a Juniper-based environment.

The engineer will analyze existing router configurations, develop migration plans, create implementation documentation, and execute network migrations during scheduled maintenance windows. Candidates must be comfortable working independently, coordinating with multiple internal teams and field resources, and managing several migration projects simultaneously.

This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
