Job summary

Ledgent Technology in Burnsville, MN is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join a Managed Services team. This senior role serves as the highest level of technical escalation and leads projects while mentoring junior engineers.

You will design, implement, and troubleshoot network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, and manage Windows Server, AD, Microsoft 365, Azure, and virtualization platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in network, systems, or infrastructure engineering.
• MSP environment experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and network troubleshooting.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Azure.
• Working knowledge of VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization technologies.
• Understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and security frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Industry certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, Fortinet, or similar are a plus.
