The JAAW Group LLC in Arlington, VA is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and operate secure network infrastructure for DoD environments, collaborating with cloud, cybersecurity, software, data, and AI/ML teams to ensure reliable, scalable connectivity across War Data Platform environments. A Secret clearance and U.S.

citizenship are required. This full-time role is onsite in Arlington, covering LAN/WAN design, security, monitoring, incident response, and documentation to sustain

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required before onboarding.

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• Experience supporting computer networks, network architecture, or related infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of LAN, WAN, routing, switching, network architecture, and data communications technologies.
• Experience analyzing and troubleshooting network performance and connectivity issues.
• Strong technical troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Arlington, Virginia.

Network Engineer

About the Role

The JAAW Group LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), is seeking a Network Engineer to support the War Data Platform (WDP) Core Integration effort in support of the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO). This role will support the design, implementation, analysis, and operation of secure network infrastructure supporting mission-critical Department of Defense environments. The Network Engineer will collaborate with cloud, systems, cybersecurity, software, data, and AI/ML teams to maintain reliable, secure, and scalable connectivity across WDP environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting DoD or federal government environments.
• Experience supporting classified or highly secure network environments.
• Experience with cloud-connected or hybrid network architectures.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, automation, or configuration management.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or mission-critical network environments.
