Job summary

AWS Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Bellevue, WA seeks a Network Development Engineer to own deployment, scaling and optimization of next-generation IP networks for the U.S. Intelligence Community. You will collaborate with Infrastructure, Systems and Software Engineers to standardize configurations and deploy networking tools, delivering repeatable solutions.

Applicants should have strong Linux/Unix experience, routing protocol expertise, and a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph eligibility.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of major internet routing protocols experience.
• 4+ years of working in a Linux/Unix environment experience
• Knowledge of networking protocols, to include HTTP(S), DNS, and TCP/IP
• Bachelor's degree, or CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) or CFR (CyberSec First Responder) or Cloud+ or GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional) or SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner)
• Experience in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices

Responsibilities

• Own and transform networking projects relating to deployment, implementation, scaling, and/or optimization.
• Partner with our Infrastructure organization on configurations standards and tools, and collaborate with Systems and Software Engineers to ensure fast, smooth roll-out of new designs and products, and deploy and sustain networking software tools.
