Job summary

Archer is seeking a Deployment Technician to support Scale Computing's managed services deployments by configuring network hardware, providing real-time support, and ensuring successful project completion. The role requires flexible hours, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple installations in a fast-paced environment.

You will conduct remote and on-site installations of network equipment, assist in coordinating with internal teams, and document all steps for QA review.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' deployments, IT support, or field services.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, VLANs, DHCP, switch configurations).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage remote sessions and coordinate effectively across teams.

Responsibilities

• Install and support on-site and remote installations of network hardware (firewalls, switches, wireless APs).
• Support onsite technicians via video/voice platforms; manage multiple installations and milestones.
• Update task statuses in Jira, DaySmart, and related systems; escalate issues as needed.
