Job summary

Forged Fiber seeks a Project Coordinator in the Salt Lake City area to support network deployment and infrastructure projects. You will help ensure accurate project tracking, timely updates, and smooth coordination between internal teams and external partners.

The role requires 1–3 years of related experience, familiarity with milestone‑driven projects, and strong communication. You’ll work on-site with a dynamic team focused on reliable connectivity and impactful outcomes.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in telecom, utilities, construction, or related fields.
• Familiarity with milestone‑driven projects and maintaining accurate project data.
• Understanding of basic project scheduling and date tracking.
• Experience with Excel, Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, or similar tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Track key project milestones and maintain accurate, current status updates.
• Assist with validating forecasted vs. actual dates and identifying basic discrepancies.
• Support schedule reviews and help confirm task ownership.
• Review project updates for completeness and alignment with project scope.
• Escalate risks, delays, or missing information to senior team members.
• Serve as a communication point for internal teams and external partners.
• Assist in preparing project status summaries and milestone reports.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and vendor teams.
• Provide accurate data and project details to support project managers.
