Job Description

Defines, manages, and evaluates business plans to ensure operational execution against established strategic objectives. Partners with cross-functional teams to develop short-term business plans, demand forecasts, and data-driven models that support business performance and resource optimization.

Develops execution plans, resource allocation strategies, performance metrics, and processes to ensure alignment across stakeholders. Analyzes business performance, identifies gaps and opportunities, and provides recommendations to improve forecasting accuracy, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.

Applies advanced subject matter expertise to solve complex business and planning challenges. Works independently on complex problems requiring in-depth analysis of multiple factors, data sources, and business scenarios.

Provides expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams, contributes to process improvements, and supports the development of planning methodologies and analytical solutions. Exercises independent judgment to determine effective approaches for achieving business objectives and may provide mentoring to less-experienced team members.

• Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and advanced analytical methodologies to enhance demand planning capabilities.
• Prepare and present forecasting reports, business performance analyses, and recommendations to management and key stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and analytical expertise to team members and business partners.

Education and Experience Required

• Advanced university degree (e.g., MBA) or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• Typically 6-10 years of experience in Demand Planning, Business Planning, Strategy, Operations, Finance, or a related functional area.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience using planning systems and tools to support demand forecasting, business planning, and operational decision-making is required.
• Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.
• Excellent analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills, with the ability to analyze complex datasets and translate findings into actionable business insights.
• Strong experience in data analysis, forecasting, and business performance evaluation.
• Strong business acumen and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.

Knowledge and Skills

• Strong understanding of demand planning processes, forecasting methodologies, and business planning principles.
• Extensive experience using planning systems to develop, manage, and analyze demand forecasts and business plans.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation, and analytical modeling.
• Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, forecasting techniques, and financial modeling.
• Proven ability to analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and develop data-driven recommendations to support business decisions.
• Ability to identify planning gaps, assess risks, and recommend improvements to forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to manage complex business challenges independently.
