Job summary

Jobtailor in Waltham, MA is seeking a senior cybersecurity professional to design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, manage identity and access through Okta/Entra ID, and own SIEM/EDR/DLP tooling. You will lead MDR relationships, enforce CIS/NIST controls, and mentor IT teammates while supporting compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities include hardening AWS/Azure environments, enforcing least privilege, and providing escalation support across IT and R&D.

Qualifications

• Experience with network infrastructure and firewalls, switching, and VPN/ZTNA solutions.
• Experience administering Okta and Entra ID.
• Knowledge of Conditional Access, MFA, identity lifecycle management, and IGA.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, DLP, and vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of CIS Controls, NIST CSF, and relevant frameworks.
• Experience hardening AWS/Azure environments with least-privilege IAM and VPC security.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure and security controls.
• Own MDR relationship and respond to escalated detections.
• Mentor IT teammates and provide front-line escalation support.
• Maintain security runbooks and documentation.
• Assess technology risk and recommend remediations.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineer, IT, R&D, and Legal/Compliance.
