Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in information security or IT with emphasis on incident response.
• GMAC? GIAC certification is a plus (certifications preferred).
• Experience with SIEM systems is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor events and alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS tools, malware prevention platforms, system logs, and other sources
• Investigate security events and remediate or escape them
• Monitor the ticketing system for security product issues
• Analyze, respond to, and track security threats and vulnerabilities
• Use information security tools to gather investigation data
• Coordinate with business units, operations, and technology teams on incident response, remediation, and improvement
• Maintain accurate and concise case records
• Create and maintain documentation, processes, procedures, and reports
• Encourage continuous improvement and growth of Information Security
• Develop and use technical skills to expand knowledge of key Information Security controls
