Chipton‑Ross is seeking a Network Communications 3 for a contract opportunity in Pascagoula, MS.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

• 5 years with a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
• 3 years of relevant professional experience with a Master’s Degree
• Experience with circuits, firewalls, load balancers, telephone, routers, and vendor management, including SLAs and KPIs

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Report to the Infrastructure Manager and be responsible for network administration.
• Oversee the day‑to‑day management and governance of 3rd‑party infrastructure providers, ensuring performance across the networking tower.
• Manage hardware and software for routers, switches, firewalls, circuits, load balancers, and telephone systems.
• Serve as the operational interface between internal stakeholders and external vendors, driving service excellence, compliance, and strategic alignment to business goals.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support managing contractual relationships, including SLA compliance, escalation protocols, and performance reviews.
• Support alignment with strategic roadmaps.
• Monitor and report on service uptime, incident response, and remediation processes.
• Ensure infrastructure support aligns with enterprise needs in availability, scalability, and resilience.
• Drive risk mitigation initiatives and support disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Position requires traveling.
