Job summary

Planet Pharma seeks an experienced network engineer to configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls, spanning on-prem and cloud environments.

You will support incident resolution, change management, and performance monitoring, with on-call coverage and cloud integration with AWS/GCP. Applicants should have CCIE preferred and hands-on experience with VPCs, VPNs, and automation tools.

Qualifications

CCIE certification preferred
Experience with GCP/AWS networking (VPC, VPN, routing)
Familiarity with SD-WAN (Cisco Viptela or Meraki) a plus
Knowledge of ITIL change management processes
Scripting for automation (Python/PowerShell) a plus

Responsibilities

Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls).
Support day-to-day network operations: incident resolution, change management, performance monitoring.
Assist in design/implementation of network architecture improvements for reliability and security.
Monitor performance and proactively resolve bottlenecks or failures.
Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configuration records.
On-call support for critical network infrastructure.
Integrate on-premises networks with AWS/GCP cloud environments.
Configure and maintain cloud VPN tunnels and hybrid connectivity.
Collaborate with cloud teams on VPC networking, security groups, routing.
Gain exposure to cloud-native tools (AWS VPC, CloudWatch, GCP Networking).
