Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Network Circuit Provisioning and Operations Engineer in the San Mateo area. The role blends hands-on field work with remote operations, collaborating with engineering, vendors, and logistics teams.

Responsibilities include provisioning, testing, deployment, and maintenance of circuits, plus troubleshooting and documentation across PoPs and enterprise environments. Requires 5–7 years in networking and strong routing/switching knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of hands-on networking experience in service provider, WAN, or large enterprise environments.
• Strong foundation in routing, switching, and IP/MPLS concepts.
• Familiarity with protocols: TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, CDP, LACP, BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, EIGRP.

Responsibilities

• Support network provisioning, PoP deployments, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Configure, test, deploy, and decommission circuits and devices.
• Troubleshoot peering, transit, and circuit connectivity issues; escalate to SMEs as needed.
