Job summary

DLS Engineering seeks a Network Automation Engineer (Router & Boundary) for the AFINC program on-site at Gunter Annex in Montgomery, Alabama. You will develop scripts and automation for network devices, improve availability, and support DoD network operations.

Required are 5+ years in scripting, IAT-II, CCNP or Palo Alto certifications, and an Active Secret Clearance. The role emphasizes security, reliability, and efficient network management in a DoD environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience with scripting to automate network provisioning, changes, and data collection.
• Strong understanding of enterprise network architectures; SDN experience desired.
• IAT-II certification required.
• CCNP OR Palo Alto security certifications required.
• Active Secret Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scripts to reduce downtime and automate network changes.
• Automate network monitoring and alert triage for high availability.
• Create automation for configuring and monitoring routers, switches, VPNs, load balancers, firewalls, servers.
• Design new workflows to maximize network efficiency and security.
