Dell is seeking a Network Automation Engineer for a Federal Customer in Chantilly, VA. This on-site role requires TS/SCI clearance and involves deploying, scaling, and automating network infrastructure for sensitive federal workloads.

You will write automation to drive repeatable network changes, troubleshoot routing and interconnectivity, and collaborate with the Network Architect on designs and deployments. Proficiency in Python or Go and experience with network protocols are essential.

Network Automation Engineer – Federal Customer (Chantilly, VA)(on-site 5 days per week: TS/SCI Clearance Required) Please note: Candidates without existing Required Clearances will be auto declined.

Network Development Engineers perform high-quality network and systems operations, deployments, scaling, technology refresh, sustaining engineering, best practices applications, optimization, internal/external customer interactions, and produce appropriate technical documentation.

• Create and implement changes through automation
• Deliver simple, sustainable, and repeatable solutions and processes
• Operate and trouble-shoot network routing, interconnectivity, platforms, performance, and configuration issues; including low level application interaction, rk Border and everything in between
• Work closely with the Network Architect to ensure fast, smooth roll-out of new designs and products, as well as assist with deployment and sustaining of network infrastructure and tooling
• Proficient in either Python or Go programming language
• Experience working with networking protocols and APIs, ideally Open vSwitch and/or any RESTful APIs for network devices and services
• Proficient in network topologies and architecture (VLAN
