Job summary

Astreya is seeking an Automation/Data Engineering professional to design and implement automated workflows for partner onboarding, data updates, and renewals. You will build ETL pipelines, automate data migrations from legacy sources, and create reconciliation scripts to ensure data integrity across systems.

The role emphasizes self-service tooling, automated alerts, and runbooks to standardize operations. You’ll work with Python, APIs, SQL, and scheduling tools in a large enterprise setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in automation engineering, data engineering, or DevOps.
• Strong Python skills for scripting, API integrations, and data manipulation.
• Experience building and consuming REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Familiarity with SQL and data pipeline/ETL concepts.
• Experience with job scheduling and orchestration tools (Airflow, cron).
• Understanding data quality principles and working with large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated workflows for partner onboarding, contact updates, service renewals, and data lifecycle.
• Create self-service tools for bulk data operations without engineering support.
• Build automated alerting for stale data, missing information, or expiring SLAs.
• Develop ETL pipelines to synchronize partner data across internal systems.
• Automate migration of legacy data into the centralized platform.
• Develop reconciliation scripts to detect discrepancies between systems.
• Build tools to auto-retrieve partner contacts during incidents and improve response time.
• Create automated escalation and outreach workflows triggered by events.
• Develop runbooks to standardize repetitive operational tasks.
