Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Network Architect for a 6-month contract to hire, primarily remote with onsite Tampa, FL. The architect will lead design, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of storage, virtualization, servers, end-user computing, and LAN/WAN architectures across Moffitt’s production infrastructure.

You will provide technical standards, operation procedures, and perform root cause analysis after incidents.

Qualifications

• Architect level experience required.
• CCIE certification and Networking expertise.
• Ability to design a database in a new location and implement it.
• Leadership role with ability to execute without guidance.
• Experience supervising and coordinating engineers.
• Standardize processes and audit existing architectures.

Network Architect

Contract: 6 month contract to hire

Location: Primarily Remote (onsite for special circumstances) Tampa, FL

Role Overview: The Architect provides daily support in the execution of new design, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of Moffitt’s systems and related infrastructure technology leveraged by Research, Business, and Clinical communities. This position will have a focus on all aspects of design, implementation, and management of the Center’s Storage/Backup, Virtualization, Server/OS, End-User Computing, and LAN/WAN architectures. Ensures optimal performance is maintained across Moffitt’s production infrastructure; in addition to providing technical standards, operational procedures as well as performing root cause analysis after critical incidents.

Must Have:

• CCIENotes: Architect level experience
• CCIE and Networking
• Be able to design a database in a new location, implement it
• Leadership roll that someone has the ability to execute without guidance
• Run the other engineers, run with them
