Job summary

Insight Xcite in Sterling, Virginia is seeking an expert-level Network Architect to design, evaluate, and modernize secure enterprise network architectures supporting critical mission environments. The role requires an active TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph clearance and onsite work at the designated customer location.

The position offers a highly specialized opportunity within a mission-focused consulting firm delivering cybersecurity, analytics, and engineering services to national security

Qualifications

• Expert-level experience designing and modernizing large enterprise networks.
• Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, switching, VLANs, QoS, firewalls, VPNs, and high-availability design.
• Experience developing architecture artifacts, technical standards, and implementation plans.
• Strong troubleshooting, technical-leadership, and stakeholder-communication skills.

Insight Xcite is seeking an expert-level Network Architect in Sterling, Virginia, to design, evaluate, and modernize secure enterprise network architectures supporting critical mission environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable, and highly available enterprise network architectures.
• Develop standards and technical solutions for routing, switching, segmentation, network security, and resilient connectivity.
• Evaluate current environments and produce modernization roadmaps, trade studies, and implementation guidance.
• Integrate on-premises networks with cloud services, firewalls, VPNs, and mission systems.
• Lead technical reviews and produce architecture diagrams, interface specifications, and operational documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Expert-level experience designing and modernizing large enterprise networks.
• Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, switching, VLANs, QoS, firewalls, VPNs, and high-availability design.
• Experience developing architecture artifacts, technical standards, and implementation plans.
• Strong troubleshooting, technical-leadership, and stakeholder-communication skills.

Preferred Qualification

• Experience supporting Intelligence Community or other government customers.
• Experience with AWS or Azure networking, zero trust, software-defined networking, or network automation.
• Advanced Cisco, Juniper, cloud, or network-security certifications.

Applicants must currently possess an active TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph (FSP) to be considered for employment.

Work Location Requirement

The pay range for this role is:
