Job summary

Insight Xcite is seeking a Systems Engineer to support mission-critical enterprise and operational environments within the Intelligence Community. This role involves designing, integrating, securing, and maintaining complex infrastructure and systems supporting high-priority customer missions.

The ideal candidate is technically versatile, collaborative, and experienced working in fast-paced, high-security environments.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP).
• Minimum 6 years of systems engineering, infrastructure, or enterprise support experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise or mission environments.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and/or Windows systems administration.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware.
• Experience with cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
• Understanding of networking, security, and enterprise infrastructure principles.
• Experience with scripting or automation tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise systems and infrastructure.
• Support cloud modernization and infrastructure integration initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and operational issues.
• Manage and support Linux and Windows environments.

Compensation is determined based on experience, technical expertise, certifications, mission requirements, and overall alignment with customer and contract needs.

The pay range for this role is: 175,000 - 220,000 USD per year (Government Client Site – Chantilly VA). 175,000 - 220,000 USD per year (Government Client Site – Herndon VA).
