Job summary

CFE International LLC is seeking a Network and Cybersecurity Analyst in Houston to protect infrastructure, monitor performance, and lead incident response. You will implement secure configurations, manage security controls, and support disaster recovery and governance efforts.

The role requires 3–5 years in related tech roles, a degree in cybersecurity/IT, and hands-on experience with networks, firewalls, and security tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Cybersecurity, IT, CS or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in network engineering, security operations, systems administration, or a related technical role.
• Hands-on experience with networks, firewalls, endpoint and identity security, monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Independently maintain and support the company's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, wireless, VPN, firewall, and internet services.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity to ensure reliable and secure business operations.
• Administer cybersecurity tools and controls, including endpoint protection, identity security, threat detection, and security monitoring solutions.
• Investigate security alerts, technology incidents, and system vulnerabilities, coordinating remediation and escalation as needed.
• Implement and maintain secure configurations, access controls, and security best practices across technology environments.
• Support business continuity, disaster recovery, backup, and recovery activities to strengthen organizational resilience.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, system inventories, procedures, standards, and operational records.
• Support compliance, audit, governance, and risk management initiatives by providing technical evidence, reporting, and corrective action support.
• Participate in infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, and technology projects, including upgrades, migrations, and operational improvements.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned in support of departmental and organizational objectives.
