Job summary

cFocus Software Incorporated seeks a Network Administrator to join our USAF program. This on-site role is based in Linthicum Heights, MD and requires Active TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• B.S. Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience administering enterprise networks and configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and associated infrastructure.
• Know-how in LAN/WAN operations, routing, switching, IP addressing, and secure connectivity across on-prem and hybrid environments.
• Ability to diagnose network faults, analyze performance and logs, restore connectivity, and coordinate incident escalation.
• Experience applying secure configuration baselines, implementing patches, and supporting vulnerability remediation and STIG compliance.
• Maintain network diagrams and configuration records, follow change management, and provide evidence for security assessments.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, administer, and maintain firewalls, routers, switches, hubs, and cabling per Government-approved architecture and security baselines.
• Operate and secure network infrastructure; coordinate with systems admins on server/storage connectivity and hybrid integrations.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security; configure alerts, logs, and investigate outages.
• Resolve escalated network incidents with service desk and NOC personnel; coordinate restoration and communicate status.
• Deploy network updates and changes under release schedules, change controls, and DevSecOps procedures.
• Maintain accurate network diagrams, configuration records, and as-built documentation; track changes via CM processes.
• Provide inventory data, utilization reports, and capacity planning for government review by month end.
• Provide data-driven recommendations for upgrades and infrastructure changes; support VMs and cloud services.
• Coordinate patching, vulnerability remediation, and secure configurations with cybersecurity personnel; implement STIGs.
• Monitor for security incidents and respond to network alerts per Incident Response Plan; supply logs and data.
• Maintain government-approved network security tools and controls; support RMF compliance and ATO requirements.
• Maintain external service provider contacts and coordinate rapid response for disruptions.
• Notify government of critical issues within 30 minutes for Priority 1 incidents.
• Support NOC/SOC monitoring and enterprise scanning connectivity.
