Job summary

ITAC Solutions in Birmingham, AL is seeking a network professional to design, implement, and maintain client networks, ensuring speed, security, and reliability across multiple environments. You will provide escalated support, install and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls, manage VLANs and VPNs, and perform on-site service calls to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Two or more relevant certifications such as Network+, CCNA, Fortinet NSE, or Azure Administrator Associate.
• Experience reviewing structured cabling drawings and performing physical cable troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining network systems for clients.
• Providing escalated technical support on complex network issues.
• Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Managing VLANs, VPNs, and wireless systems across multiple platforms.
