Job Description:

TMC Technologies is in search of a highly skilled Network Administrator to join us in support of the FBI's CJIS Division, Communication Technologies Unit (CTU) to provide networking services to FBI stakeholders and users. This is for a bid effort with an award decision from the government expected in late May 2025. The candidate must be a US citizen and possess a minimum of an active Top Secret clearance due to federal contract requirements.

The Network Administrator - Senior shall be responsible for the following:

1. Maintain computer networks and systems including software, mainframes, VPNs, routers, and other physical hardware.
2. Install and configure network equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues.
3. Update virus protection software to keep data and communications protected.
4. Monitor computer systems to improve network performance for computer systems and networks.
5. Communicate networking issues to other employees and management, especially in training new users.
6. Fix software and hardware configuration issues for users on-demand or from inspection of the systems.
7. Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, changes, and operational procedures.
8. Diagnose and resolve network issues quickly to minimize downtime.

Job Requirements:

1. US Citizenship and active Top Secret clearance required
2. Minimum of five years of experience in network administration required
3. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field is preferred
4. Experience working in an Agile organization using Scrum, XP, Kanban, and SAFe required
5. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) preferred
6. Knowledge of network protocols, standards, and devices (e.g., TCP/IP, Ethernet, LAN, WAN, VPN)
7. Familiar with network security principles and practices (e.g., firewall configuration)
8. Knowledgeable with network operating systems (e.g., Windows Server) and management tools (e.g., Cisco IOS)
