Job summary

The St. Johns River Water Management District is seeking an IT professional to design, implement, maintain, and enhance the District's enterprise network infrastructure in support of water quality, supply, and resiliency initiatives.

This role collaborates with IT staff, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable networking solutions across the District's counties. Responsibilities include configuring routers, switches, firewalls, wireless infrastructure, and cloud networking

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or MIS with IT enterprise experience.
• Experience planning, implementing and supporting enterprise network solutions.
• Knowledge of security standards and change management practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning, implement and support enterprise network solutions with vendors and stakeholders.
• Implement and support firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and lifecycle management for network infrastructure.
• Configure and monitor routers, switches, wireless, and cloud networking.
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity, routing, and security issues; monitor performance.
