Job summary

State of Montana invites applications for a Network Administrator to troubleshoot and maintain the legislative computer network’s central and shared hardware and software. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 3 years of relevant experience, or an Associate degree with 5 years, or an equivalent combination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field plus three (3) years of relevant work experience.
• Associate degree in Computer Science or related field plus five (5) years of relevant work experience.
• Equivalent amount of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and maintains the legislative computer network’s central and shared hardware and software.
• Maintains computer network workstations, file servers, printers, and operating systems.
• Supports computer software applications and systems.
• Reviews, evaluates, and resolves computer user application problems.
• Maintains inventory and maintenance records for computer hardware and software.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
