Job summary

Invictus International is seeking a Network Administrator III to join our DoD/IC network operations team at Pearl Harbor, HI. The role requires analyzing, administering and supporting voice, video, and data communications networks with emphasis on crypto equipment and secure configurations.

A TS/SCI clearance with CI poly is required. The candidate should have a minimum of six years of relevant experience beyond the degree, DoD 8570 IAT II and CCNA (or equivalent) certifications, and proven

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 6+ years of relevant DoD/IC network experience.
• Must possess DoD 8570 IAT II and CCNA (or equivalent) certifications.
• Current TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain/maintain CI polygraph.
• Experience in a DoD/IC environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, administer and support voice, video, and data networks.
• Monitor and configure crypto equipment; diagnose network issues.
• Ensure compliance with network security policies and procedures.
• Manage Enterprise Network for resource availability and performance.
• Lead major network installations and upgrades when required.

Job description

Title: Network Administrator III

Location: Pearl Harbor, HI

Clearance: TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph

Job Details

• Responsible for the analysis, administration and support of voice, video, and/or data communications networks
• Extensive experience monitoring and configuring crypto equipment; ability to identify, analyze, and resolve operating/hardware network system problems
• Comprehensive knowledge of Cisco and Juniper routers and switches
• Demonstrate network troubleshooting techniques and experience
• Ensure compliance with network security policies and procedures
• Manage the Enterprise Network for resource availability
• Experience with both LAN and WAN troubleshooting Experience with WAN circuit technologies (T1, DS3, OC-3, OC-12, OC-192)
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of operating systems and applications as they pertain to the network environment
• Process Authorized Service Interruptions (ASI's) as directed
• Provide After Action Reports (AARs) for Problem Management resolution
• Experience with programming and troubleshooting KG-175A and KG-175D encryptors (to include 10G encryptors)
• Evaluate hardware and software, including peripheral, output, and related equipment
• Participate in the development and implementation of network-related procedures and standards
• Participate in and may lead aspects of major network installations and upgrades
• Interface with vendors to ensure appropriate resolution during network outages or periods of reduced performance
• Develop and implement testing strategies and document results
• Provide advice and training to end-users
• May provide professional leadership to less-experienced network personnel
• Participate in special projects as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to the position; an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
• Minimum six (6) years of relevant experience in addition to education level
• Experience with mobility
• Must possess current DoD 8570 IAT II and CCNA (or equivalent) certifications
• Experience working in a DoD or IC environment desired
• Current active TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph
