Job summary

Invictus International is seeking a Network Administrator IV to maintain and secure DoD networks in a critical IC environment. The role covers management of voice, video, and data networks with emphasis on encryptors and secure configurations.

The position requires a TS/SCI clearance, CCNA or equivalent, and 8+ years of relevant experience. Sunday-Thursday 6am-2pm shift; in Alexandria, VA area with on-site work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute; additional 4 years experience may substitute for degree.
• Minimum eight years of relevant experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT II and CCNA (or equivalent).
• Experience in a DoD or IC environment.
• Ability to work Sunday-Thursday, 6am-2pm.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, administer and support voice, video, and data networks.
• Monitor and configure crypto equipment; identify and resolve network issues.
• Maintain Cisco/Juniper routers and switches; perform troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with network security policies and procedures.
• Manage Enterprise Network for resource availability.
• Support LAN/WAN troubleshooting and WAN circuits (T1, DS3, OC-3/12/192).
• Interface with vendors; lead network installations and upgrades as needed.

Job Details

• Responsible for the analysis, administration and support of voice, video, and/or data communications networks
• Extensive experience monitoring and configuring crypto equipment; ability to identify, analyze, and resolve operating/hardware network system problems
• Comprehensive knowledge of Cisco and Juniper routers and switches
• Demonstrate network troubleshooting techniques and experience
• Ensure compliance with network security policies and procedures
• Manage the Enterprise Network for resource availability
• Experience with both LAN and WAN troubleshooting; Experience with WAN circuit technologies (T1, DS3, OC-3, OC-12, OC-192)
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of operating systems and applications as they pertain to the network environment
• Process Authorized Service Interruptions (ASI's) as directed by management
• Provide After Action Reports (AARs) for problem management resolution
• Experience with programming and troubleshooting KG-175A and KG-175D encryptors (to include 10G encryptors)
• Evaluate hardware and software, including peripheral, output, and related equipment
• Participate in the development and implementation of network-related procedures and standards
• Participate in and may lead aspects of major network installations and upgrades
• Interface with vendors to ensure appropriate resolution during network outages or periods of reduced performance
• Develop and implement testing strategies and document results
• Provide advice and training to end-users
• May provide professional leadership to less-experienced network personnel
• Participate in special projects as required

• Must possess current DoD 8570 IAT II and CCNA (or equivalent) certifications

• Current active TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph
