Job summary

MCCNO is seeking a Network Support Associate to monitor wired and wireless networks, assist with event-related networking needs, and troubleshoot routine connectivity issues. You will follow SOPs, generate basic performance reports, and escalate complex problems to senior staff.

Required is an IT-related degree or equivalent, with 2 years networking experience preferred, and familiarity with Cisco IOS and ArubaOS. Ability to work extended hours including nights and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

  • Associates or better in Information Technology or related field.
  • Two years related experience and/or training in mid to large scale networking environments preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN) and other common network concepts.
  • Exposure to routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems (coursework, labs, or entry-level work).
  • Familiarity with device operating systems (e.g., Cisco IOS, HPE ArubaOS). Through coursework or entry-level tasks

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Perform firmware updates and basic device checks under supervision.
  • Follow established SOPs for changes and maintenance.

Client Support

  • Provide first-level client supportfor event-related networking needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve routineconnectivityissues.
  • Escalate configuration or design-level issues to senior staff.

Qualifications
Education
Required
