Office of the Revisor of Statutes in Minnesota seeks a Systems Analyst/Programmer I or II to plan, configure, monitor, patch and secure network equipment, including firewalls and VPNs. In-person work with possible interim remote arrangements supports legislative operations.

Responsibilities include programming, systems administration, and database administration, with a strong emphasis on security and reliability for the Revisor’s network infrastructure.

Qualifications

Range: $4,385-$4,697 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.

The Office of the Revisor of Statutes is seeking applicants for a Systems Analyst/Programmer I or II position with an emphasis on network administration and engineering. This position is responsible for planning, configuration, documentation, monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, upgrading and the securing of all Revisor-supported network equipment including firewalls, core and access switches, VPN, and WiFi.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a four-year IT-related degree, or the equivalent based on relevant work experience (at least 3 years of work in the computer field).
• An extensive background in system analysis and design as well as strong communication skills are also required.
• Experience with cybersecurity tooling, automation, and cloud environments is a plus.

This is a permanent, full-time, unclassified position that works in-person approximately 40 hours per week with the possibility of some interim remote work consistent with legislative policies and office needs.
