Key Responsibilities / Tasks
At a minimum, the consultant(s) shall perform the following:
Develop standards, procedures, and documentation
Devise and recommend short‑and long‑term plans for the development and enhancement of hardware and production systems
Develop and enforce production standards and policies in coordination with the Senior Network Engineer and Database Administrator
Facilitate communication and collaboration across IT units to build strong partnerships and support organizational objectives
Maintain audit compliance with state requirements related to:
User accounts
Backup and disaster recovery
Data center security
Work closely with the Information Security Manager (ISM) to develop and enforce security standards and policies, including:
NIST standards
COBIT 5 framework
Create and adhere to change management procedures for all network changes
