Responsibilities
Administer and maintain Windows, Unix/Sun systems, and associated servers.
Manage network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, fiber) used in control and monitoring systems.
Configure and monitor firewalls, manage rule sets, and perform routine log reviews.
Maintain user access controls, permissions, and account inventories for DCS/SCADA systems.
Implement and enforce cybersecurity and governance policies in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Maintain backups, perform patching, and ensure antivirus and endpoint protection are current.
Monitor system health, logs, and network performance for early issue detection.
Support secure data exchange between control systems, historians, and enterprise systems.
Maintain accurate documentation for configurations, changes, and access records.
Provide after-hours or on-call support for control system network issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field; or equivalent experience.
4+ years of experience in network or systems administration.
Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, VLANs, and segmentation.
Experience with firewall administration and security rule management.
Familiarity with industrial control systems (DCS, SCADA, or PLC-based networks).
Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and governance practices (e.g., NIST, ISA/IEC 62443).
Proficiency in system documentation and configuration management.
Preferred
Experience in OT or critical infrastructure environments.
Familiarity with backup tools, patch management, and log monitoring utilities.
